Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and ground-and - beat her to a TKO victory in the 2nd round. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the evening.
