Angela Watson
Angela Christine Watson is an American model and actress. She was best known as Karen Foster, the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert's character Suzanne Somers in the American sitcom Step by Step. Angela Watson is a National Board Certified Teacher with an advanced degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has more than 11 years of classroom experience and more than a decade of expertise as an instructional coach. Angela began this site in 2003, when she was still a teacher. Her goal was to inspire educators with practical suggestions for classrooms and to help them develop a positive attitude. The site was first titled Ms. Powell's Ideas for Management Ideas for Teachers. In 2008, it changed the designation in to The Cornerstone for Teachers in the honor of her book. Angela Powell's productivity professional development is now being used at over 45,000 public schools in the USA via her 40-Hour Workweek initiative. The program was originally designed for teachers but it was later extended to administrators and instructional coaches. 40 Hour helps educators become more intentional with their personal contractual and instructional time so they are focused on the things that really matter.
